Maruti SX4/ S-CROSS
Maruti Suzuki launched SX4 in 2007 with minor cosmetic changes compared to the models assembled and marketed in global market. It was Powered by 1.6Litre VVT petrol engine. Maruti also introduced factory fitted CNG kit in 2010. Later in 2011, Maruti also introduced fiat sourced 1.3Litre DDiS diesel engine. After sometime Maruti gave a minor facelift. But low demand Maruti SX4 discontinued in 2014 and replaced by Maruti Ciaz.
In 2015, Maruti launched second generation SX4 as S-Cross, a crossover SUV with 1.5Litre DDiS diesel engine. After sometime Maruti also offered 1.6Litre diesel engine.
In 2017 Maruti Suzuki gave a facelift to S-Cross with redesign headlamps, grille and also fog lamp housing. It was powered by 1.3Litre diesel engine. Maruti also offered mild hybrid technology with 48V alternator.
Due to BSVI norms Maruti discontinued its diesel variants and introduced 1.5L K15B petrol engine with mild hybrid.
Maruti A-star
Maruti launched A-Star in 2008 in India. Maruti hopes that A-STAR bring a freshness in market. It placed above Wagon-R. It was powered by 998cc K10B engine. A-STAR had a fresh dashboard. But A-Star can't attract many buyers. Due to low sales and demand Maruti discontinued A-STAR and replaced it with new Celerio in 2014.
Maruti Swift Dzire/ Dzire
Maruti launched Swift Dzire in 2008. Swift Dzire actually based on Swift hatchback. It is a subcompact sedan which sedan fill in a small size.
It was powered by 1.3Litre petrol and 1.3Litre fiat sourced diesel engine. due to BSIV norms Maruti introduced 1.2L K- series engine.
First generation Swift Dzire discontinued in 2012 but still production for fleet buyers as Swift Dzire Tour until 2016.
Second Generation Swift Dzire introduced in 2012 in India with 1.2Litre petrol and 1.3Litre diesel engine.
2nd gen Swift Dzire received a minor facelift in 2015. Swift Dzire got a 5 speed AMT in ZDI trim in 2016.
Second generation Swift Dzire discontinued in 2017 but still in production for fleet buyers as Dzire tour Swith 1,3Litre diesel engine. but due to BSVI norms Maruti replaced it with 1.2Litre engine and also offered a CNG KIT.
Third Generation Dzire launched in 2017 in India. But this time "Swift" name dropped and based on third generation Swift hatchback. It shared its platform "HEARTECT" with swift, Baleno and other. It received a completely new exterior and interior design. It has all new front grille with new LED DRLs and LED projector headlamps and rear also have LED setup. It was powered by 1.2Litre K12M petrol engine and also 1.3Litre Fiat sourced diesel engine.
3rd Gen Dzire received a minor facelift in 2020. Facelifted Dzire has a BSVI compliant 1.2Litre K12N petrol engine with mild hybrid technology.
Maruti Ritz
Maruti Ritz was launched in India back in 2008. It was powered by 1.2Litre K12M petrol and 1.3Litre DDiS fiat sourced diesel engine.
In 2015, Maruti Ritz received a facelift with a grille, headlamps and also front bumper. It also have new infotainment system, new alloy wheels and new seat upholstery.
Maruti Ritz discontinued in 2016.
Maruti Suzuki Kizashi
Maruti launched Kizashi in 2011 in India. It was powered by 4 cylinder 2.4Litre J24B 16 valve engine.
It was imported as completely Build Unit. Due importing It faced a heavy import duties. As a result price of Kizashi was gone 16-17lakhs. Due to overpriced and low demand Maruti discontinued Kizashi in 2014.
Maruti Ertiga
Maruti Ertiga launched in India back in 2012. It is a MPV segment car. Maruti marketed Ertiga as " Life Utility Vehicle". 11,000 units ordered in all over India within five days since launches.
It is powered by 1.4Litre K14B petrol and 1.3Litre turbo diesel engine. In 2013, Maruti factory fitted CNG kit in Ertiga.
The Second Generation Ertiga launched in India back in 2018. It was Powered by 1.5Litre petrol and 1.3Litre diesel engine. Both Petrol and diesel variants equipped with SHVS(Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) hybrid technology. It shares it platform "HEARTECT" with Maruti's other models like Baleno, Ignis etc. 1.3Litre diesel engine variants discontinued in 2019.
In April 2019 1.5Litre diesel engine introduced in Ertiga with a 6-speed manual transmission. But due to BSVI norms, 1.5Litre diesel engine replaced by 1.5Litre K15B l4 petrol engine mild hybrid technology.
Maruti Celerio

Maruti Celerio launched in India back in 2014. Maruti Celerio powered by 1.0Litre K10B petrol engine. Celerio is the most affordable automatic transmission car when It was launched.
Maruti also introduced 796cc diesel engine in Celerio in 2015. Celerio diesel discontinued in 2017.
Celerio also available with factory fitted CNG kit. Celerio X is a premium version of Celerio with Sportier look, redesigned grille and also Auto Gear Shift technology.
Maruti Ciaz
Maruti Ciaz released in India back in 2014. Ciaz belongs to the B segment sedan commonly known as "mid-size sedan".
Ciaz is powered by 1.4Litre K14B petrol engine and Fiat sourced 1.3L multijet 4 cylinder diesel engine.
In 2015, Mild- hybrid version of Ciaz diesel introduced. An ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) offers engine power assistance using motors. It helps to improve fuel efficiency. ISG also offer the Auto engine start-stop technology.
In 2018, Ciaz received its first facelift. Facelifted Ciaz powered by big powerful 1.5Litre K15B petrol engine with SHVS mild hybrid technology. Later In 2019, Maruti introduced a 1.5Litre E15A diesel engine in Ciaz. However Diesel engine of Ciaz discontinued in 2020 due to BSVI norms.
Maruti Vitara Brezza
Maruti introduced Vitara Brezza at 13th Auto Expo in 2016. It is the first attempt in sub compact segment. Brezza is the first car which is fully designed in India.
Initially Brezza powered by Fiat sourced 1.3Litre DDiS 4cylinder diesel engine.
Brezza received a minor facelift in 2020. Facelifted Brezza powered by 1.5Litre K15B BSVI compliant petrol engine and diesel engine discontinued due to BSVI emission norms.
Maruti Ignis
Maruti introduced Ignis as replacement of Maruti Ritz back in 2017. Initially Ignis powered by 1.3Litre D13A diesel engine and 1.2Litre K12C petrol engine.
Maruti Ignis received a minor facelift in 2020 at 15th auto expo. Due to BSVI emission norms Ignis now available only 1.2Litre petrol engine.
Maruti XL6
Maruti introduced XL6 as a premium version of Ertiga back in 2019. XL6 has a all new LED headlamps with LED DRLs, new grille and also new LED fog lamps. In the rear, XL6 has a redesigned bumper. In the 2nd row, XL6 have two captain seats. XL6 has same Ertiga's HEARTECT platform. XL6 powered by 1.5Litre K15B petrol engine with SHVS mild hybrid technology.
Maruti S-Presso
Maruti introduced its mini crossover styled S-Presso in 2019. It placed just above the alto and below the Wagon-R. Maruti marketed it as mini SUV or micro SUV by its SUV stance and higher ground clearance. S-Presso built on HEARTECT K platform. It is powered by 996cc K10B l3 petrol engine.
