Next gen Suzuki Swift hit the global car market in 2022

The next generation Suzuki Swift will shine as it is said to be based on a new platform; likely to be launched in 2022

A media report from Japan indicates that the next-generation Suzuki Swift will be based on the newly built platform and is expected to be simpler than the existing one with improved driving performance and greater speed. Last year, the Japanese manufacturer announced the Swift Sport Hybrid for global markets. It mainly uses a 1.4 liter inline in-cylinder turbocharged engine powered by a system with a volt 48-

hybrid system. Its reach will also be extended to the next generation. The interior is reportedly going to have a great touch screen system and is expected to show the latest heads and mechanical changes. The suspension is said to be based on sport driving and high support based on the performance of dual sensor brake support will be available. We can expect new features and technologies to be part of the math as well. The report went on to say that the exterior will have many revisions as the fascia front will receive a collection of different headlights and new LED Daytime Running Lights.

The front grille has a V-shaped structure and the lower part has a three-dimensional structure with wings of the same color in the middle. Fog lamps are also redesigned for a more aggressive look. The next-generation Suzuki Swift is likely to make its debut next year and the Swift Sport version can be expected around 2023.

The Suzuki Swift Sport will have more variations compared to the standard model. In India, the compact hatchback tends to end up being the best-selling model of the month. The latest generation first appeared globally at the 2018 Auto Expo before sale and was preceded by the Dzire sedan with external changes as a global model last year.

Earlier this year, the 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift launched with an updated grille, three new dual color schemes and hidden mechanical changes. Most notable was the 1.2 liter DualJet petrol engine producing about 90 horsepower and 113 Nm. It comes  with a five-speed manual and five-speed automatic transmission.
