Total sale of Kia 11,050 units by May 2021, Sonet is a leading player

Riding on Sonet's impressive performance, Kia India today announced it was closing down a total of 11,050 units sold in May 2021. South Africa's automotive product portfolio includes Seltos and Carnival.

Of the 6,627 units, the Kia Sonet was not the only best-selling car, and it was India's best-selling SUV in May 2021. While the Kia Seltos received 4,277 units sales during the month, sales of the Kia Carnival stood at 146 units.

The second continuous wave of Covid-19 disease has made things difficult for all businesses and automotive industries has not been the case, as normal business operations have been disrupted," said Kia India Chief Sales and Business Strategy CEO Tae-Jin Park he said.
"In these difficult times, the relentless efforts of our teams and partners enable Kia India to achieve its highest market share of 10.7 percent. We are confident that the need for personal mobility and the need for investment will make everyone recover in the industry in the coming months," he added.
In May 2021, Kia India introduced the updated Sonet and Seltos in the country. While the new Kia Sonet costs between Rs 6.79 lakh and Rs 13.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the new Kia Seltos is available at prices Rs 9.95 lakh to Rs 17.65 lakh (ex-showroom, India ).
