• The total sales of Hyundai Verna stood at 1,181 units in May 2021.
• Honda City registered a total sale of 1,148 units in May 2021.

Honda City and Hyundai Verna have long been involved in a dispute over height in the middle sedan category. While the City was selling out in April 2021, Verna relocated to the No. 2 sales center in May 2021. After the two sales-related vehicles, which were heavily affected during the month, the second Covid-19 epidemic was Skoda Rapid, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Volkswagen Vento.

Hyundai Verna (1,181 units)

Honda City - (1,148 units)

Skoda Rapid - (603 units)

Skoda Rapid was in third place witnessing a full sale of 603 units in May 2021. Compared to May 2021, Rapid had sold most of the 848 units in April 2021. Its price starts at Rs 7.79 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.29 lakh (front room of the show) , Delhi).

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz - (349 units)

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz recorded a total sale of 349 units in May 2021 as compared to 1,567 units in April 2021. Available in brackets at Rs 8.52 lakh to Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Volkswagen Vento - (169 units)

The powerful performance of the Volkswagen Vento continued, with the car closing the total sale of only 169 units in May 2021. Even by April 2021, Vento had sold slightly by 170 units. Prices range from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 13.83 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
